Language courses
Each day, you will have three hours of structured tuition built around your level in French and your needs: grammar, phonetics, oral and written comprehension.
The emphasis is placed above all on communication skills, with a particular attention to pronunciation. Vocabulary, which is studied by drawing on situations of daily life, is largely based on your interests and personal experiences.
The teaching is both traditional (you will have some homework to do each day ….) and ludique, with the use of different pedagogical tools such as role-playing, songs, television programmes, newspaper articles, DVD, games etc.
Practice in written French and preparation for DELF/DALF exams are also available if requested. |
|
| One month before your arrival, you will be invited to complete an on-line test to determine your level, so that the teaching can be based on your real needs. |

Your teacher
The lessons are given by Françoise Burley who will make you feel confident and encourage you to speak French throughout your stay: during the courses, throughout the activities of the afternoon and at mealtimes.
Before starting the EnjoyFrench programme, Françoise Burley taught French as a foreign language for nine years at the Alliance Française in New York and for 18 years in a private school in Geneva. She contributed to French language text-books published by Harcourt Brace Jovanovich and by Macmillan. She has been an examiner for the DELF/DALF since 1997. Françoise has a maîtrise de lettres and a diplôme de l’Institut d'Etudes Politiques from the University of Lyon, France. |
