Environment

Our home town of Divonne-les-Bains is located on the French-Swiss border in the scenic region of the Pays de Gex between the Jura mountain range and Lac Léman.

It is a charming small town with a population of 7,500 just minutes away from the international city of Geneva.

Homestay/Practical Arrangements

Transportation
There is easy access to Divonne by air, train or road. Geneva International Airport is 25 kms away, as is the Geneva railway station with links to France, Germany and Italy. Divonne is 3 kms from the Swiss motorway system.  We will be happy to meet you at either the airport or train station.  You can rent a car if you wish, but this is not necessary as all transportation is included.

Accommodation
Our home is on the edge of Divonne, with fine views of the Jura and, from your balcony, of Mont Blanc in the Alps. The house and garden is large and elegant, with your private bedroom and bathroom.

Meals
You will enjoy good French cooking throughout your stay. Meals will be at home with your teacher and her husband.  One lunch or dinner will be taken in a good local French restaurant.
